Change from IMAP to Exchange
I been unable to sync my calendar & contacts between Outlook desktop and my Android phone. I am using Microsoft Office 365 on Windows 11 and a Galaxy Z Flip7 FE android phone. My email provider is Gmail with the setup IMAP/SMTP.
Apparently, IMAP is the problem, and I need to be on Exchange. How can I switch to Exchange without losing my files, contacts and calendar items?

When you say "Outlook desktop" I assume you mean Classic Outlook for Windows. If not, see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/what-version-of-outlook-do-i-have-b3a9568c-edb5-42b9-9825-d48d82b2257c
A GMail account can only be added to Classic Outlook for Windows as an IMAP account. You can not change it to an Exchange account. IMAP accounts in Classic Outlook for Windows only sync email, not Calendar and Contacts.
