Certain emails can't be marked as "read". Why?
I again and again have emails that remain highlighted as unread even though I opened and looked at them. Even explicitly selecting it and pressing the [Unread/Read] button or right-clicking the email...
I was unable to recreate your scenario to address your question. However, I can suggest reviewing your Message handling settings.

Teresa_Cyrus Sorry - saw this only today. What "Settings" are you referrring to here? I couldn't locate a doialog that looks like your screenshot. I found similar settings starting from [OutLook] File --> Options --> Mail --> Outlook panes --> [Reading pane] but are these the same settings?
