- RobertT415Aug 01, 2024Copper ContributorI recently purchased a Laptop with Windows 11. I am trying for few day to set up Outlook 2016 with a Spectrum e-mail account. Whatever i am doing and all recommendations found on internet do not work!!! However i have a desktop where i upgraded to Windows 11. The Spectrum Mail and Outlook 2016 continue to work perfectly in same configuration/setup. I also do believe that there is something with the OS. I tried to compare some of the OS settings between the two pieces of hardware. For example i found the Mail settings in the Security and Privacy to be different (Laptop - is enabled; PC -is disabled). So now I'm taking a short break. If someone has an idea that can share i will really appreciate it and be grateful !!! ♥ But until then I lost my confidence that computing is an exact science Thank you!!!
- Shell1405Dec 07, 2023Copper ContributorThanks, I will take a peek at your link....this randomly happened at both of our business locations on the evening of December 4th....this is what Spectrum tech chatted to me: "This is a common issue with charter emails. At this time your account no longer supports stand alone emails as a result you can only check your email at spectrum.net. I do apologize for the inconvenience." So that's that!
