can't get outlook mail to send or receive mail

have a new computer. did the email in outlook, filled out all information and still it does not turn on can't send or receive mail

Any error messages? That would be a big help in trying to troubleshoot.

What type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? POP, IMAP, Outlook.com, or Microsoft Exchange?
