Can't edit contact in Chrome browser

When I go to https://outlook.office.com/people/ to see my contacts using Google Chrome on Windows 10, there is an edit button for the contact, but nothing happens when I click it.  If I use the Edge ...

    Hi! I was having the same problem until I realized why. Outlook for web uses a popup window for contact editing. I noticed that when I went over to Edge to edit my contacts. By default, Google Chrome blocks pop-ups from automatically showing up on your screen. I added an exception for https://outlook.office.com to allow popups. Worked like a charm after restarting Chrome. FYI - Restart is absolutely necessary for change to take effect. Instructions for finding this setting are on the web here:

    If link doesn't work search in Chrome for popups and redirects and it should be listed at or near the top of the search results. IMHO it's pretty frustrating that outlook on the web has to be all cute about using a popup window for updating contacts.
