cannot open links in Outlook emails

When I click on a Hyperlink in Outlook email messages, they no longer open up; I have to right click in order to open the links. How do I restore the ability to click on and open a link in Outlook email messages? I tried to follow suggestions, for example, making sure Edge is my default browser, but nothing works. This just "happened." Help is appreciated.
