Calendar meeting reminder

How can I *permanently* make it such that I am *only* reminded of meetings 1 minute before they start?  Currently it is the wild wild west.  Some reminders are 15 minutes, some are 5, some are 1.  And it seems I have very little control over it.

 

I have the default set to 1 minute already.  But, it seems that this gets overwritten when someone sends me a calendar invite and I fail to manually change it after accepting the invitation.

 

I don't want to have to change every single invitation that I receive.  I receive several every day.  I just want Outlook to remind me 1 minute before I have a meeting, for *every* meeting.  Is this possible?  If not, how can I request it as a feature?
