CALENDAR - appointment will NOT delete no matter what I do! HELP!
HI! I am a Microsoft 365 user and have an issue with the calendar regarding a recurring appointment that is no longer relevant that I have tried to delete but it will not go away! I have tried so...
fsuadrienne another solution that finally worked for me is to move the calendar event to a different calendar. (Use the Outlook application itself; open the event so that it's in its own window; choose File / Move to folder.)
The event was deleted from the original location and created in the new calendar. I was then able to delete/cancel the event that I was editing, which took it out of the new calendar.
I should say that I was in safe mode at the time ("outlook /safe") but I don't know if that had any bearing on the success.
The same problem was driving me crazy and this fixed it. Thank you!!!
