Blocking Incoming Emails

Does anyone have a reason why certain websites are being blocked from sending mail to my msn account. I have checked my junk folder and my blocked senders list and these are not the issue. There are two websites in particular that had no problem sending me emails until very recently.

Help?????

If you are experiencing issues with certain websites' emails being blocked from reaching your MSN account, there could be a few reasons for this situation. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and address the issue:

    1. Check Junk and Spam Folders: Sometimes legitimate emails can end up in the junk or spam folder. Make sure to check these folders regularly for any emails from the blocked websites.
    2. Whitelist the Sender: Sometimes emails from certain senders or domains can be blocked due to spam filters. Whitelisting the sender's email address or domain can help ensure their emails reach your inbox.
    3. Check Blocked Senders List: Double-check your blocked senders list to ensure that the websites' email addresses or domains are not mistakenly listed there.
    4. Contact the Websites: Reach out to the websites' support or customer service to inquire if they have any issues sending emails to your MSN account. They might be able to check if their emails are being flagged as spam or blocked by their email provider.
    5. Review MSN Email Rules:  In your MSN email settings, review any email rules that you may have set up. Sometimes, unintentional rules can cause emails to be automatically moved or deleted.
    6. Contact MSN Support: If you've checked all the above steps and the issue persists, you might need to contact MSN support. They can assist you in diagnosing the issue and provide guidance on resolving it.
    7. Email Content or Attachments: Sometimes emails containing specific content or attachments can trigger spam filters. If the emails from these websites contain certain keywords or types of attachments, they might be getting caught by the filters.
    8. Spam Reporting Feedback Loop: Some email providers have a feedback loop where users can report false positives (legitimate emails flagged as spam). Check if MSN provides such a mechanism and report the issue.

It's worth noting that email delivery can be influenced by a combination of factors, including the sender's email service, the recipient's email service, spam filters, and more. The issue could be on either end.

If you are consistently not receiving emails from specific websites, contacting their support and your email service provider's support is a good approach to identify and resolve the problem.

Thanks for your suggestions! I have done almost everything you suggested with no success. Both the websites I am having an issue with had been working fine , one just stopped working last Monday after over a year where I  received a daily message. It is so frustrating. At this point I will reach out to Microsoft support for help. Thanks again.
