Automatically Saving Emails to an External Folder?
Hi guys
I know that I can manually save an email to an external folder on my hard drive, but can it be done automatically?
Let’s just say that I want to save every email from Email address removed to an external folder marked “JOE”. Not worried about reading it. Just want to save it.
Appreciate that Outlook would need to be running at the time for it to work.
I’ve had a look in rules, but they seem to only save emails to internal folders.
Any ideas?
Many thanks
Pete

- You would need to use a macro - or a run a script rule. The second macro on this page is a run a script rule - create the rule to look for messages from joe, the script saves them.
