Anyone else hate the New Desktop Outlook?.
New Outlook freezes and crashes, which alone creates unnecessary disruption/frustration/stress. More concerning, however, is the user experience. The interface is confusing, overly busy, and difficult to navigate quickly. I have tried both light and dark modes and struggle with readability in both.
As a result, I've made mistakes sending emails and scheduling meetings that I would not typically make. Instead of helping me manage my workload, New increases the time and attention required for basic, routine tasks.
I currently keep both Classic and New open because I am genuinely trying to adapt to New. Unfortunately, time and again, New proves less reliable and more difficult to use. For busy professionals already managing demanding workloads, software should reduce stress, not add to it.
Outlook has traditionally been a tool I could rely on. The current experience feels like a giant step backward in both usability and stability.
