Adding GoDaddy account to Outlook on new Android phone
Got my new Samsung Galaxy S24+ today. Went to set up my GoDaddy account on Outlook and it won't progress to asking for a password. You enter the email account email address removed for privacy reason...
Just a heads-up—using Microsoft 365 through GoDaddy isn’t recommended if you want full control and transparency.
You don’t get access to the main Microsoft admin centers, the pricing isn’t very clear, SharePoint URLs are locked to a bad format (NETORG4504), and support is limited.
The good news? You don’t need to migrate or start over. There’s a simple way to disconnect GoDaddy, called Defederation. It keeps your existing accounts and data, but gives you full access and control under Microsoft.
