A major step backwards: Classic Outlook vs. New Outlook on changing the "From" sending account
Someone in my org is having exactly this problem with New Outlook. But New Outlook on my comp works fine, hitting Reply and then changing the sender from field works the way it should. We both have exactly the same version. Strange...

Hi steve02476 Hornblower409,
Let me provide some clarity on Switch Accounts in New Outlook.
- My primary account on New Outlook for Windows (desktop) has several alias accounts. The alias accounts are tied to the primary account. When I switch the Sender to one of the alias accounts, the content remains in the email body. This is why users do not have an issue with OWA.
- If the primary account contains content in the email body and the user wishes to send it from a different account or domain, for security purposes, a blank email appears.
This behavior also applies to switching accounts for calendar invites. See the image below.I recommend that you submit the feedback to Microsoft or vote on existing ones.
