.eml files opened from a file folder are saved as copies in my inbox

A new behavior when opening a .eml file from the downloads folder it saves a copy in my inbox. I don't want that to happen. How do I stop it from happening?

Yes we solved it by updating our version of chrome. If you're on the latest version of Chrome and it's still happening disable any outlook extensions in the browser and see if that fixes it. zmotiwala

JC_NatGen , we use the desktop outlook application how does upgrading chrome address it?

    1. On your computer, open Chrome.
    2. At the top right, click More .
    3. Click Help. About Google Chrome.
    4. Click Update Google Chrome. Important: If you can't find this button, you're on the latest version.
    5. Click Relaunch.
