Other things you can try...
Profile Corruption Check
Create a new local Windows user account (Settings > Accounts > Family & other users > Add account), log in there, install OneDrive fresh, and test sync. If it works cleanly, the issue stems from corrupted profile data in your main account—avoid copying all folders at once; migrate files selectively (e.g., Documents only, exclude hidden app data) while monitoring for crashes.
Deeper System Repair
Perform an in-place Windows 11 upgrade: Download the latest Windows 11 ISO from microsoft.com/software-download/windows11, mount it, run setup.exe, and choose "Keep personal files and apps." Do this in Clean Boot mode first (msconfig > Services > Hide Microsoft > Disable all; Startup > Disable via Task Manager) to rule out third-party conflicts.
OneDrive-Specific Fixes
- Rename the OneDrive settings folder to force a full reset: Close OneDrive, navigate to %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive, rename "settings" to "settings.old," then relaunch.
- Block version-specific update: Use WSUS Offline or edit registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\OneDrive > DWORD "DisableFileSyncNGSC" = 1) to pause auto-updates until Microsoft patches this build.

We have the same issue and waiting for MS to provide the build to test. If anyone has the solution to this issue, please share
- chenryleeBrass ContributorI disabled scheduled task "OneDrive Standalone Update Task-<SID>", but it was enabled automatically (I think it was enabled by OneDrive itself), so now it was updated from 22.33.213.1 to 22.33.213.2 again.
