One Drive options disappeared in file explorer
As a small business we change the color of folder in our one drive so everyone knows the status without having to dig into the folder to figure it out. We have been able to right click the folder and go to "One Driver" and there was a folder color option. That option is no longer there. We can still go to the web app and change the color which does change in file explorer but this becomes a real pain when you are doing a bunch of these every day. I have done a lot of things I have found online but still can not get this option back. It has vanished from multiple computers as well as every account on my computer. This does not see to be a server side issue but rather an issue with the newer release of One Drive from what appears to be released last week. How can we fix this or is there a way I can go back to a previous version of One Drive where it worked?

Hi gdufault,
If the option disappeared at roughly the same time across multiple computers and user accounts, that does make it sound more like a recent OneDrive update than a problem with an individual device.
The fact that folder colors can still be changed through the web interface and are correctly reflected in File Explorer suggests that the feature itself is still supported, but the Explorer integration may have changed or been temporarily removed.
A couple of questions:
- Are all affected devices running the same OneDrive version?
- Have you checked whether the missing option affects both personal and business OneDrive accounts?
- Does the "OneDrive" submenu still appear in the right-click menu, or is it missing entirely?
If this started after last week's update, it may be worth seeing whether other users are reporting the same behavior. Hopefully someone else can confirm whether they're seeing the folder color option disappear as well.
Please let us know if you find a workaround or if the option returns after a future update.
