Missing OneDrive context menu in windows 10
- Oct 13, 2020
donreak Hi there,
Our documentation changes with time and the article I previously mention is one of them.
For the OneDrive missing context menu we have now this one - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/how-to-change-the-user-account-control-policies-to-allow-onedrive-context-menus-1f957672-848d-48bb-bfe8-5af828613211
Hope this helps
Hello Grant,
We just published and article regarding this issue - https://support.office.com/en-us/article/unable-to-share-onedrive-files-18755580-24f3-408d-afda-bd8d0f7ed5a2
Is it possible the client itself can be configured to not run in elevated rights? Seems like an issue with the OneDrive application itself

Simply change the UAC settings to On or higher. Restart the Machine, check share is back. Then set UAC to your desired settings.

Changing UAC settings worked for me - thanks Jabiru
Both One Drives were working and syncing (personal and business), but the context menus to choose online/offline etc were missing.
Ran User Account Settings, and changed from Never Notify (must have had it on for some development work) to a higher setting and context menu is back.- WaddoJun 03, 2021Brass ContributorIts an annoying problem, glad you got it sorted following Jabiru advice.
