Is it possible to restore a folder to a previous state?

Is there a way to restore a folder to its previous state?  For example its state as at one week ago? I see this is possible for individual files, but not for folders. (Maybe the solution is to delete the folder and then look for a version in the onedrive recycle bin - will this work?)
