Does anyone inform their users how to set OneDrive to open in the client applications?

What one person thinks is "extended features" or "bloat" is not the same as another's. Microsoft in general has a better understanding based on data from instrumented desktop apps and service figures from online versions.
Off of the original topic but, the data that Microsoft collects would be a great resource to understand users, I don't think they've ever made high-level or detailed reports of what features are used in the Office clients. It would be helpful and enlightening to see in our own tenant, the data telemetry and tracking gathered when we choose to opt-in to send. I'll have to add that suggestion to the feedback portal sometime.
