Different attributes for downloaded files in OneDrive vs OneDrive for Business?

When I (or my users in the organization) logon to OneDrive for Business online and download a file, it is stored in "dowloaded files" and gets the created/modified date set to the current downloaded time. Now if I do the exact same thing for my private OneDrive I have, the original date is preserved. First, I thought it was only on my work PC with the OneDrive for Business sync on, but the same happens on a private PC when logging on to OneDrive for Business online.

How can the file’s attributes/metadata be preserved when downloading files from OneDrive for Business as they are in OneDrive private?
