Deleted users onedrive for business retention for 7 yrs - license requirement

We are looking to extend the deleted users OneDrive for business retention to 7 yrs. Does this apply to E1 and E3 licensed users. Thanks

Hi Mohan!

According to all articles and documentation i have read you can set the retention to maximum of 10 years. The retention is triggered when a user account gets deleted and since both E1 and E3 contains OneDrive for Business i see no reason ( and have not found any articles or documentation) why both should not support this.

    Thanks Magnus. Thought so as didn't see any reference to license requirements. As per the documents "Applies to OneDrive for Business" .
