Can you make files in a onedrive folder local only?

I use 2 different personal computers.... My main is my dekstop and then I have a laptop which is for casual use around the house. I use my desktop mainly for gaming so I have a bunch of garbage files on the "desktop" of my desktop that I dont want on my laptop through one drive. Is there a way to make some "desktop" files on my desktop local only so they don't upload? I know I could move them into a local folder but I would rather just make the "local only"
