Avast Antivirus False Positive for OneDrive Files?
Avast free version on a 32 bit Windows 10 machine keeps popping up that it's quarantining 2 files on OneDrive. I close the dlg box, and it pops up again.
It says the files are located in C:\OneDrive\Temp\S-1-5-21-1654843628-3381493285-3727955867-1001\
I can't see the files (I think) because Avast keeps throwing them into the Virus Chest. But I've attached screen cap of Avast alert details where it shows 2 files with really long names and .temp extension.
I'm guessing that the 2 "threats" are false positives and that OneDrive simply creates them for sync or other purposes. Any way to find out if OneDrive creates this kind of file at this location?
Only other possibly related thing was that while sync'ing OneDrive on the same day that Avast started popping up, OneDrive flagged a virus in a file that has lived on my drive for months at least. It was in a totally different directory. I did delete it and sync continued fine. The file was "FoxitReader901_enu_Setup_Prom.exe" and was sitting in my Download directory. I'll attach a screen grab of that too.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
