What is the successor SKU for "Dynamics 365 for Team Members Enterprise Edition"

Hi team,

I am a distributor in Japan. Could you tell me what the successor SKU is for “Dynamics 365 for Team Members Enterprise Edition”? I noticed that there was a SKU for “Dynamics 365 for Team Members Enterprise Edition” in CSP legacy, but I couldn’t find it in NCE . I found a new SKU called “Dynamics 365 Team Members,” but I’m not sure if it includes the same components as “Dynamics 365 for Team Members Enterprise Edition.”

What SKU should existing users purchase to continue using the service?

  • Hi Yuga_Oshima

Thank you for moving this post to the NCE community

I do not show that product SKU in any of the documentation that I have, and I do not see it on the current price list.  However, I can confirm that users assigned with an D365 Enterprise license can access the Team Member apps.

In addition to pg.34 the D365 LG (Licensing Guide), for clarification and to learn more about Team Members, please review the following link to learn more about Team Members license - Dynamics 365 Team Members license overview and FAQ - Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

        Hi,
The Dynamics 365 for Team Members Enterprise Edition was deprecated. I forget when exactly.
Microsoft decided it was too powerful and did not fit the light user requirements.
It was replaced with the Dynamics 365 Team Member licenses, which had less use rights.

You would need to assess the use rights of the current Team Member license to validate if it is applicable. If user need greater use rights, then you would assign them an appropriate full Professional or Enterprise license.

The Enterprise license you mention having assigned to users will work, but has a significant cost compared to a Team Member license.
