Why Teams cannot keep blank spaces

Juts a plain text string as above, copied from notepad. The spaces are always stripped, even using "code snippet" or uisng "Monospaced".
- In what scenario? I have no issues using copy/paste to Teams chats etc. while keeping the spaces.
