Why don't i see Skype for Business Phones in Teams

We are slowly moving to the Microsoft Phone System and test out various equipment that we have.

I have been able to get 2 Polycom phones on to the Skype for Business sign in.

Should these phones show up somewhere in the Tenant in either the Legacy Skype Tenant or the Teams Tenant?  In Teams, I do not see the phones listed.

  • Hi bfry24 ,

I see. I am just conscious that you keep referring to Skype for Business. So I know the requirement for the Device to be present in the Teams Admin Centre, is that it should be Teams certified, so could you confirm the device make/model/firmware version please?

On top of that when you say the Skype for Business sign in on the device, is this a user that is set to Teams upgrade wise or are they in say Islands mode or in some other Teams Coexistence mode?

I also noted in the documentation that each device gets enrolled in Intune, so it may be that the device could be present in Intune regardless of whether the device is Teams certified. So you could check there.

    Thanks

HenryPhillipsNimbitech  Thanks for the reply, I am aware of that section in the Teams Admin Console.  But the two phones that have signed into Skype for Business do not show up there.  So my question is where do they show up?
