why can't Teams change diskplay name?(as nickname, remark)
as SFB could rename user's contact, why Teams can't?
if you have 10 mohammad(even in the same OU), it will be easier to give them a tag

Not currently available. But there is a feedback for this here

Would recommend to both vote up and follow in order to be notified if Microsoft pick this up.

maybe you can share the idea why is this deprecated?
besides "how", I'm interested in "why" at the same time
