zhiyuan024 Am having the same issue, so will also need to check our retention policy, does see buggy though. I am at a meeting with Microsoft on Monday, and was going to raise this direct with them on site

Sandra Elliott We have resolved this locally now. It is linked to the Sharepoint/Onedrive and Exchange online retention policy, which is on by default. We have changed the Sharepoint retention policy, and can now successfully delete private channels

  I tested by doing the delete from my phone and that worked. Will look at the retention policy.
  We were unable to find the URL path for the private team to exclude it -how did you update the policy so I can pass that along.
