Teams Video call Custom Backgrounds - Release date?
Hi, Is there a release date for Teams custom backgrounds for use on video calls? It was announced earlier this year with a release date of "later this year" but I've seen nothing more concret...
- Not currently. It was demoed as early back as March 2019 so there are a lot of asks for it
The guys at Regarding 365 recently did an update on it which may be worth watching

Would recommend keeping an eye on the Microsoft 365 roadmap, as well as Teams Uservoice.

Jorge Carvalho No, no update yet. Many people are asking about this so I think Microsoft should release it soon or stop promoting it as a cool feature coming "soon".
- Can't be a big step from where we are today which is the ability to blur the background.
