I know this is old but just had the same problem but found if you go to Apps & Features then search for 'Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office' the below article says to uninstall it then reopen teams for force reinstall.
HOWEVER I just clicked modify & repair and it worked just fine. If this is common knowledge now then disregard.
