Teams CQD Endpoint csv Upload

I am trying to isolate devices in my CQD specifically MTRs and in the documentation it refers to creating an endpoint csv to write custom tags for endpoint information but it doesn't say where to upload the csv file. Does the csv upload to the device folder or to the cqd?
