Teams chat messages are not in order

Multiple people at my company are experiencing the same issue...

When you send a teams chat message it does not have the normal back and forth.  i.e. I send a message someone responds and the responses are all clustered together from the person and my responses are all clustered together.  

This started happening last week and continues into this week and is very annoying.

Attached is an example of what is happening.  I sent Lori a message about PathFactory and her response is appearing above my question vs. after my question.  Please advise as this is just not working.
