Teams Audio quality is very poor / pathetic

Compared to my Zoom calls, people complaint that my sound is muffled with lot of white noise.

I have tested this issue myself by adding my spouse ID to teams meeting. I sounded horrible.

It seems, Microsoft has no plan to improve the voice capture quality. I use https://rode.com/en/microphones/usb/nt-usb for my Zoom and Teams meetings. I went on to test the microphone quality with google hangout too. Apart from Teams, sound from my Rode microphone crystal clear .. really high definition sounds. But the one that's captured by teams is very flat / very noisy
