Teams app crashes on Carplay
Happens to me too. Everything goes smoothly until i initiate a call or try to join a conference call on Teams. It sort of acts like a reboot signal, the head-unit of the vehicle reboots instantly.
MihaiTanase I am not sure why Microsoft, Apple or Nissan (in my case) are not addressing this or at least acknowledging here. Apps on phone are often updated and I check for updates in the car and it's apparently current; the dealer had no idea when I went for service and asked them.
Ian_Coulthard - seems this is a rather isolated situation (probably not a lot of people are experiencing it) and I might go as far as indicating that the culprit might lie with the Renault / Nissan Alliance implementation of the Apple Carplay on their multimedia headunits, rather than with Microsoft or Apple.
I'm using a Renault by the way and I can see that most people indicated they are using Nissan vehicles. Perhaps it's just a coincidence but ...
- I have issues and my car is a VW. So I do not think that it is linked to the car play implementation of the car manufacturer brand. Renault, Nissan or other. Car play should be car play.
ppmsft Yes, this is not an isolated incident as someone suggested as it it across various vehicles as people have reported here although Nissan seems prevalent. I suggest as usual each would be saying it's not their issue and no one wants to bring all the developers together and understand the root cause.
