Syncing Exchange contacts to Microsoft Teams

Currently, only the default contact folder is synchronized to Microsoft Teams for mailboxes that are in the cloud. Does anyone know if custom contact folders will also be synchronized in the near future? Is there any information available about this in the roadmap?
