Spell check broken in new Teams 2.0 client
Greetings, we have about 100 users running Teams 2.0 and a handful of users, myself included, are seeing issues with the spell check. It will work for maybe 10 minutes, maybe a hour, maybe a day or two, but eventually will stop working. It will no longer flag misspelled words.
The only fix is to reset the app/cache. Rebooting, uninstalling does fix it.. Just a cache reset. Once we do that, it starts working again, for 10 minutes, maybe an hour, who knows. But it will always fail again.
Has anybody else seen this?

- atsoc800Copper ContributorI have tried:
Disabled spell check, restart client, reenable spell check, restart client
End client, clear both local and roaming cache, restart client
Full uninstall and reinstall.
Updated to the latest version.
And still same issue. Not sure what else I can do here but I am going back to the old client as well. - Simon_J_GreenCopper ContributorI am experiencing the same issue. Tried switching the spell check option off, restarting, turning it on again, restarting, to no avail. Quite frustrating!
- Dennis KieselCopper ContributorI'll add my +1 to this issue. Using version 1.0.1 of the new Windows client.

I am experiencing this also and when I switch back to old/less-broken teams I am automatically shunted back to new/broken teams regularly by some process.
- AspenForesterBrass ContributorYep, my org is seeing the complete lack of spell check in the Teams 2.0 preview/side-by-side client as well.

Looks like our Org is running into the same issue as well. Spell check is checked in the settings menu, but does not give an option for checking/correcting misspelled words. Only getting the Copy/Paste/Cut options.

jwillard520 Seems the (Preview) version of the Teams client was causing this. I uninstalled preview version, downloaded Standard/Channel version and spell check is working again. Previous Teams cache resets temporarily fixed Spellcheck, but subsequent Teams client update (5 minutes later) broke it again.

quinnwyo wish that was the fix. This is happening on the non-preview versions for us.
