Signing Up for Microsoft Teams for Free

Greetings!

I am trying to sign up with Microsfot Teams for free with a gmail account. I was able to do this successfully, yesterday. However, today, I cannot do it with a seperate account, to show my teammates. Here is what I am trying to do starting here:

I click on "Get Teams for Free" and then "Sign Up for Free"

I then enter my email, "xxxxxx@gmail.com"
On the next page, I am told that, "This looks like a school account "and to sign up. When I try to sign up with the same email, it says, "Sorry, you have to use the email address assigned to you by your school." 
Thus ends my attempt each time. Am I doing something wrong?
