share point based upload questions
- Jun 04, 2020I have tested by creating a Quiz in 'My Forms' - I put a file upload question, and a couple of other questions.
I then used 2 different users accounts to take the quiz.
Both users uploaded a file, and I can see those two files in my OneDrive for Business.
The users cannot see or access those files in my OneDrive for Business. Only I can access the files.
When a form is owned by a Group - the results of form submissions are written to an Excel file stored in the Group SharePoint site.
When a form is owned by a single user, the results are written to an Excel file store in the OneDrive for Business for that owner individual.
If you are using Forms for testing / examination, then I would recommend either:
The Forms are owned by a single user (so the results can only be accessed by that user, on their OneDrive for Business
OR
The Forms are owned by a Group - and make sure that the students are not members of that group - because members of that group have access to the results.

well said ;
i tested when i create a form in My forms and create a file upload question it is created in one drive.
the issue is if i create a file upload question when the form in my forms , after scheduling a new form is uploaded to Group forms . that form never allow file to upload a error is appearing. so we found i found create a form in my forms without upload type question , after scheduling, open group form there add upload question . in this method uploading is taking place in share point not in one drive.
because it is uploading through share point all members able to see the others submission , how to avoid , this is a disaster, i tested from a student deleting other student submission and checked from faculty account the student file is not found ; a hacker student can delete easily all others file ; please advice and help me to solve this issue.

In such case i will not be able to launch / schedule my exam to students ; it is to problematic now; i am expecting changes of students deleting some one else file from share point then it will be a disaster from the examination point of view. MS Team should do some thing for this.
We are creating a team ; adding students as students, creating an exam using MS forms, the forms automatically uploaded to group form now what ever student answer or upload files as a part of answer can be seen by other students vial share point and delete ; what kind of exam environment is this. It is really looks like a disaster ; how do i conduct exam ; MS Teams not need to look in to this is issue as a serious matter and help school and colleges to conduct exam in a safe environment .
Its a simple / clear / focused requirement as a faculty
1. create class in teams
2. add members
3. create exam for class and launch with upload file facility
4. only faculty should be able to see the files and answers given students
5. on completion of evaluation students should be give permission to see his grades, his answers and only his files.
6. students should not hold permission to delete files of others, it could be personals or exam upload what ever he / she should not given permission to delete some one else file.
This is called exam environment can MS teams can provide/support it ????????

Mr Ellis exactly you have pointed out the issue. Rob Ellis
Presently i have 48 students in that class; i have launched a quiz with file upload facility. As per MS the new form has been stored in the particular group forms and exam started ; all students uploading answers file to respective questions now the issue is will the students be able to see the other students submission via share point or they can see only their uploaded files.
in both cases it is a problem we dont want student to see the files in that ways
1. they should be able to see the files only after faculty return it.
2. they should no see the other students submission any time
