Set status to offline and prevent people msg except from list

I tend to stay online 24x7 on teams so i can get priority messages if something important happens. Unfortunately people know this and tend to message me at all hours asking silly questions. Is there a way to allow certain people to message me but prevent everyone else. Preferable so it appears I am offline?

Happy to edit config files or whatever if required.

  • You can at least use the setting under 'Privacy' in Teams. "Do not disturb" and select "Manage priority access". When in that status you will still receive messages from people you choose.

Unfortunately there’s no option to do what you’re looking for right now.
