Re-organizing channels - New Teams implication

Hello,

I am supporting my organization with a re-structuring of our Teams channels in Classic Teams. We are combining some channels together, and renaming others. With the eventual move to New Teams, I ask if there are any implications we should be aware of when planning this re-structure. We are trying to avoid launching the newly re-structured channels and then having to amend them once New Teams becomes more ubiquitous.
