rayted22 I'm not aware of any way to disable it. It's generally needed is you end up giving control to other people.

I totally agree...this Teams toolbar is very intrusive and it needs to have a toggle to collapse that functionality. Why is this such a long-running issue? I cannot believe this got past the user experience teams for so long now!

The answer is obvious. Microsoft believes that the way it works is close to perfect, and they don't care what we think. As RachaelBoneck asked, why is the bar needed at all? I'd be happy if I could move it to either side of the screen. It would be a lot less annoying, but they won't even allow that.
