Opening Sharepoint & Teams files in "Application" switches my office user profile

Hello!
When I access my sharepoint files from Teams and I try to open a file in the desktop application (e.g. Word), when I open the document in the application, my default office user is changed to a different account. This is quite strange. Any help? thanks

    Hi Chus72,

you can try to to these steps to solve your issue:

    • Check your Office settings. Make sure that your default Office user profile is the correct one. To do this, open Word or Excel and go to File > Account. Under User Information, make sure that the email address displayed is the one for the profile you want to use.

    • Clear your Office credentials. This can help to reset your Office user profile. To do this, open the Control Panel and go to Credential Manager. Under Windows Credentials, remove all credentials that start with "Microsoft Office".

    • Repair your Office installation. This can fix any corrupted files that may be causing the issue. To repair your Office installation, open the Control Panel and go to Programs. Right-click on your Office installation and select Change. Then, click on Repair and follow the on-screen instructions.
