New Teams feature announcement popups need to STOP
Every New Teams update interrupts work flow by announcing new features and changes with pop ups.
There isn't a setting to disable this in "Notifications and activity".
Is there some way to disable these useless pop ups?
This happened with the 3 previous updates to New Teams
You have Microsoft Teams version 23306.3315.2560.6525.
You've got the latest version. It was last updated on 12/13/2023.
The client version is 49/23111630009

Hi Vince1959,
unfortunately, these pop-ups are feature announcements that cannot be turned off.
However, you can share your feedback directly with Microsoft through the Teams app (click on ... > Help > Give Feedback).
Please click Mark as Best Response & Like if my post helped you to solve your issue.
This will help others to find the correct solution easily. It also closes the item.If the post was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Like.
Kindest regards,

(LinkedIn)- Vince1959Copper ContributorI've reported the issue with each new release using this method. The reports seem to fall on deaf ears.

For those about to read comments microsoft answer: No you aree unable to stop the notification, we are going to continue to make you look at the same thing every time you open teams, even though we are aware you are tired of the pop-up and are aware of new version. Vince1959
- Greg_C_GilbertIron ContributorIt just got worse as they are now promoting the Teams personal app from within the Teams for Work/School app even when we have explicitly removed and blocked the Teams personal app from our systems.

Greg_C_Gilbert Indeed - its getting worse and worse.... The most annoying thing is you have to actively react on these completely redundant popups, as they block any other functions as long as they are active.... I take the liberty to remind developers about recent studies on how frequent distractions contribute to the level of digital stress and loss of productivity... STOP IT!!!
