New Channel Notifications

We have recently started using Teams and I've tried searching for an answer to the issue we're having and I have been unable to locate anything. After we have a Team set up with banner notifications, when creating a new channel under this team, the default notifications are set to off and we'd like all new channels to default to banner notifications. Is there a way to set that? It's going to be really annoying creating new channels and then having to message everyone to turn their notifications for that channel on every time.
