MS TEAMS Questions

Question One:

I am setting up an event for about 300 attendees. I suspect that none of them have the MS Teams app. How do I send them a phone number to join the event?

Question Two:

I set up a test event and sent a text for the link for an attendee. The first time I sent the link it work and the attendee was able to attend.  the second third and fourth try, the link only sent the attendee to a blank screen and I never saw them pop up on my screen to let them attend the event! How can this be fixed?
