Ms Lists in Teams/sharepoint/App

Cannot find the comment section in MS Lists. This is a very important aspect for what I do since I need all members to provide comment on each item in the List.
Can anyone help please. In each YouTube tutorial on MS Lists, I can see the Comment icon but I cannot see it in my lists.
