Microsoft Teams Webinar
I am unable to find the option in the Webinar settings. Could someone guide me on where to find it, or if this option is only available for specific Teams licenses? Thanks in advance!
Not every Microsoft Teams license exposes all the Webinar options, and that’s why you may not be seeing it. If you’re on a lower license (Business Basic/Standard), Webinars won’t appear.
Webinar option in Teams is controlled through the Teams Admin Center. Check with your Teams Admin, they may need to enable Webinars in the Teams Admin Center policies.
- Microsoft 365/Office 365 E3 and E5 include standard Webinar functionality.
- Microsoft Teams Essentials or lower‑tier licenses may not have Webinar features.
- Advanced Webinar features (like 1,000+ attendees, custom registration, reporting) require Teams Premium.
