Microsoft Forms integration in Teams has a bug/malfunction

Microsoft Teams has the option to integrate Microsoft Forms as a tab to a Teams Channel:

When in Microsoft Forms 'Allow receipt of responses after submission' is ticked, this should enable the respondent to save the submission as a PDF (or print it):

This button (shown below) however allows the user to save as PDF in Edge, but is malfunctioning when clicked upon in Microsoft Teams:

Clicking this button in Microsoft Teams environment does open up a window, but it only allows the user to print the form. Saving/downloading the submisson as PDF is not working in Microsoft Teams.

In the ideal situation the Save as PDF should be the dominant function, and the print option should be option.

Are you not using the Microsoft Print to PDF functionality which should be in both Windows 10 and 11?

I replicated this and this is what happened. The print page, as you suggested came up, but having Microsoft Print to PDF I selected that option

The PDF saved and had the results

You are correct in that the button triggers the print page instead of, say, downloading a PDF, however if you have Microsoft Print to PDF you can either print, or print to PDF through the same GUI. So I would say this isn't a bug, but by design.

There is a feedback for this - having a PDF option which can be saved or emailed as opposed of having to manually Print to PDF. Would recommend voting to push it up the agenda - and I agree this won't be intuitive to all users so I voted as well

Have the completed form save as a PDF that can be emailed or saved. · Community (microsoft.com)

    Hope that answers your question

    Best, Chris

      ChrisHoardMVPthanks for answering my question.

After trying it a bit more I have found the solution to my problem. I was unaware of a vertical scrollbar in the Microsoft Teams channel pop-up that allowed me to search for other printers and thus finding the Microsoft Print to PDF option.

      Thanks for helping me out!

      You can close this question.
