Make a test call contiues to ring
Therese_Solimenoyes that's exactly what I'm doing. I just tried it again to make sure it was the same steps you described, and when I do that it calls me and then I click leave and it gives me some kind of status report but when I close it, it just keeps ringing, even when I close Teams. So I have to go into Task Manager and end the process tree (twice this time).
Misty_Sommers yes EXACTLY the same for me. Windows 10 VM machine using Teams Desktop v 1.5.00.14473 connected via company VPN. If I run Teams from my local Windows 7 machine same version of Teams I have no problem making a test call successfully and the call ends when I end the call.
- Misty_SommersJun 30, 2022Copper ContributorI have Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.11163 (64-bit). It was last updated on 5/4/2022. I'm also connected to my work through GlobalProtect VPN. and Windows 10 Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.1706). Maybe it has something to do with the Windows version I have?

Yeah, our quality assurance process every time is to access the test call from settings, devices, and we always get the same symptom; and now the test call seems to go to a "bot" and not get answered at all. Clearly a new Teams update has introduced another bug, or there has been a change at MS end. Calls are always successful if you perform a test call to another user on our tenant.
We also have issues whereby teams does not pick up audio successfully, despite good old "sound recorder" proving the audio hardware device is working okay. We narrowed it down to Teams, but haven't been able to come up with a permanent solution.
Our GPs allow Teams full in/out port access via our firewalls in all profiles, it used to work; and we've made no changes to our switch or FW ruleset. We never have any problems with Zoom :). Same thing occurs when we connect machines to our guest network, which is un-firewalled, non Domain, with no restrictions.
I'm an IT admin; and have been doing this for 25+ years. Mostly Teams works, but it's clear that the development has been too quick to reflect the full testing cycle.
