Live Streaming to YouTube

Dear all,

Can we hold a live session on MT and have it streamed on YouTube?

    Yes, this is something you can do but it has nothing to see with Teams....just use YouTube tools to stream your Teams Meetings sessions

    off the top of my head the following should work :

     

    - Setup your Teams Live Event to use Stream as the production method

    - In stream use https://restream.io/ as the encoder

    - Setup https://restream.io/ to stream to both your Teams Live Event and to Youtube (and any other platform you want to add)

     

    Not tested but restream.io is a recommended encoder by MS for Azure Media services  which is what Stream runs on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/media-services/latest/recommended-on-premises-live-encoders
